Wyndham Hotel Group’s regional vice president-Eurasia Deepika Arora awarded at India Leadership Conclave 2017 as Transformational Woman Business Leader 2017

Deepika Arora was  declared winner after a nationwide voting that lasted for 2 months in the prestigious category of Indian Affairs Transformational Woman Business Leader 2017  at ILC Power Brand Awards 2017 for inspiring leadership, Trendsetting initiatives & bringing remarkable changes in Wyndham Hotel Group’s Eurasia Region

The 8th Edition of asia’s most awaited leadership dialogue & much awaited award ceremony ILC Power Brand 2017  rolled out on Friday, the 4th of August 2017 at Hotel Sahara Star Mumbai, India on a very aptly & timely theme “Transformations” at the 8th Annual India Leadership Conclave & Business Leadership Awards 2017. The historic event was attended by more than 400 country’s top business tycoons, diplomats, movie makers, social reformers, activists, rebel leaders & politicians. With over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Arora joined Wyndham Hotel Group in June 2010 and, within one year, helped establish the first properties in the region for several of the company’s brands. She joined Wyndham Hotel Group from Hilton Worldwide, where she was director of development, responsible for the development strategy for Hilton brands in India, including the management of the development process from sourcing and negotiations to the closure of management agreements. Arora also served as senior manager of strategic consulting and research for Jones Lang Lasalle in New Delhi, responsible for a variety of real estate planning projects. In addition, she held various managerial roles in development with CPG Consultants in Singapore and Bangalore and Jurong Consultants in Bangalore.

Arora was recently felicitated with the prestigious “Women Ahead List for 2016” by The Economic Times as well as “Indian Affairs Innovative Woman CEO of the year 2016″ award for leadership. Earlier this year, Arora was honoured with ‘Women Leadership Achievement Award’ at WWLCA 2016 and ‘Emerging Young Women Leader Award’ by the Uttar Pradesh government for her efforts and contribution to the tourism & hospitality industry in India. Acknowledged as one of the top 25 most powerful women in India in 2015 by Business Today, Arora is also a part of the managing committee for Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern India. She holds a bachelor’s degree in planning and a master’s degree in landscape architecture from the School of Planning & Architecture in Delhi, India. She is based in Wyndham Hotel Group’s Gurgaon, Haryana, India office.
