The making of the Brand India Leadership Conclave Conceived, conceptualized & developed the brand India Leadership Conclave in the year 2009.It has been a very challenging yet fruitful journey & the best part of the journey has been to think differently contrary to the general perceptions of how conclave & award ceremonies are held. I have been a rebel from the beginning & think 360 degree often to find newer approaches what the rest find madness & off-beat. The challenges are impossible, yet to me, I have enjoyed every moment of these last seven editions. This remarkable success of the brand India Leadership Conclave reaffirms the relevancy and competitiveness of Brand India’s promise. In my opinion, ILC Power Brand reflects global optimism that Brand India is beginning to address the authenticity of its promise. It also reflects a desire for brand India to succeed. Whatever it takes! The Leader is born, proven, tested & admired by who's & who's of india. Thank you all for making it happen. While there are divergent views on the nature of progress india has achieved both in the country & in the world, there is a definite unanimity, barring opposition parties natural opposition, in the fact that India is on a firm foot, the road to progress are fully work in progress post india’s historic 2014 elections that swept the country & brought Narendra Modi with a thumping majority. The pace of reforms & agenda for change is clearly visible. For the first time post india’s independence, there seems to be hunger for bringing a change, change in lifestyle of a billion plus population. But it is not that easy for sure. India has seen a deficit of governance and implementation. The truth is we need tangible results after a prolonged reforms paralysis & the present dispensation under the leadership of Modi knows that mere sloganeering will not work & it will lie in implementation and not just grand announcements. That would be the best way to revive faith in democracy. Therefore the theme of the much awaited leadership event in india’s 8^th Annual India Leadership Conclave & Indian Affairs Business Leadership Awards 2017 is aptly titled as “Transformation” & the venue for the event is in Mumbai on Friday, the 4^th of August 2017 where more than 400 business leaders, social entrepreneurs, rebel leaders, writers, diplomats, film makers, women entrepreneurs, venture capitalists will assemble to witness range of hot discussions, plenary sessions & face to face talks on tough questions.   Technology is disrupting the way people earn, save and spend.
